Shanghai boasts two international airports.
Pudong International Airport (PVG)
Pudong International Airport is located east of Shanghai about 30 km away from the city center, and about 40 km away from Hong Qiao International Airport. Pudong accommodates 60% of the total aircraft movements of Shanghai and serves 50 domestic and foreign airlines, connecting with over 90 international and regional destinations and 60 domestic destinations.
Hong Qiao Shanghai Airport (SHA)
Hong Qiao Shanghai Airport is situated 13 kilometres from the city center, towards the western suburbs of Shanghai, China. The airport presently has two international flights with "city-to-city" service to central Tokyo's Haneda Airport and Seoul's Gimpo International airport.
